The Compix® PC2000 thermal imaging system provides great value and performance in thermal imaging where fast scan-rates aren't important. Its ‘plug-and-play’ USB interface allows you to quickly convert any Windows based PC into a high-resolution thermal imager. The infrared camera provides non-contact temperature measurements. High-resolution (47,092 pixels) images allow comprehensive steady-state thermal analysis and reliability studies. With the PC2000, you can measure temperatures from 17° C to 150° C. Temperature measurements from 5° C to >500° C can be achieved through additional options. Standard Thermal Resolution is .2° C/step. Thermal resolution of 0.1° C/step over narrow ranges is an available option. Spatial resolution is as fine as 1 mm over an area of 7.6cm x 10.0cm; and with the optional 100 series lens, feature sizes of less than 50µm are resolvable.
Couple a Microsoft® Windows™ PC with our standard software, and the PC2000 becomes a powerful data acquisition and storage system. Industry-standard TIFF image format assures compatibility with a wide array of commercial software packages and peripherals. As well as easy acquisition and storage, the software has a nice array of tools for use in analyzing captured images.
